Short trip down the coast to Bamburgh.
En-route we thought we’d check out the by-way just south of Berwick/Spittal but a combination of wet track, the wrong tyres, a fully laden vehicle and some nervous passengers meant only an abbreviated shot at it.
Some cracking views all the same though.
The causeway out to Holy Island was a lot of fun and it’s interesting to see just how high up the tide does rise, and, how quickly.
Great dog friendly Hotel in Bamburgh too 🙂
