So, sadly the Ascaso Dream is over :'(
After 7 years of fantastic service producing a couple cups of my daily eye-opener, it’s finally packed in for good.
For the last 3 months I’ve been chasing my tail trying all sorts from altering the grind to changing my tamping technique in an effort to get things just like they were, only for the boiler to finally pack in this week.
So long Ascaso…
Enter the Rancilio Silvia!
I anticipate a shaky honeymoon period in which I get to learn about Silvia’s particular moods and features but I’m looking forward to some good brews once we’ve had time to properly suss each other out 🙂
