Wow, I didn’t think this would be such a good mod.
Gear selection is now so neat and precise.
Needless to say, being a hand built vehicle means no 2 are ever the same so the suggested 30 minute install took an hour – and I have a cut hand as a souvenir 🙂
But hey, well worth the bother!
Hardest bit was the re-seating the springs.
In fact, no that’s rubbish – the hardest bit was releasing the grub screw to get the cup out.
Sadly I just couldn’t free it so the old one’s still in there…
